Liberia Agrees For Sierra Leone To Use SKD As Home Ground For International Matches

The Ministry of Youth & Sports has accepted the LFA Letter requesting the hosting of all Sierra Leone Football Association international matches to be played in Liberia.

The Ministry of Youth & Sports has accepted the LFA Letter requesting the hosting of all Sierra Leone Football Association international matches to be played in Liberia.

Sierra Leone will play Mali in the second round of the African Nations Championship (CHAN ) on August 27-28, 2022.

Sierra Leone Football Champions Bo Rangers will also use the SKD Sports Complex for their home CAF Champions league on September 9, FC Kallon, the Cup Winners will play their own Home game on September 15, 2022 in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The technical details are being worked out between the LFA and SLFA for the matches to be played at the newly Refurbished SKD Sports Complex.

Sierra Leone remain among several African Nations barred from hosting international matches at home ground because of poor stadia.
