Little Augustine G. Smith, student of Joseph Dweh Doeyah Academy Elementary School located in New Matadi Estate , Sinkor, Monrovia, is appealing to goodwill Liberians to facilitate the payment of his graduation fees.
Little Smith, age 11, said his graduation fees is fifty United States Dollars ($50US) while transportation and clothing is also fifty United States Dollars ($50US), which include the total of one hundred United States Dollars ($100USD).
“My father is not working, I got my clearance on July 3, 2022, and since that time my father and I being passing around asking for help but nobody has contributed and tomorrow July 12, is the deadline” Little Augustine explained.
The father of Little Augustine Smith, Isaac Smith, has additional two children, 2 and 9 yrs old girls.
According to Isaac Smith, father of 11 year old little Augustine ” I did not go to school, not because my parents never wanted me to go to school, but because they were very poor and couldn’t afford to send me to school “.
Augustine father buttressed his son’s comment that July 12, 2022 will be the deadline for payment while pleading help. “If nothing happens, it means my son will not be able to graduate with his friends” which he said will be a sad day for his son.
Mr. Smith noted that he also seeking help from Goodwill Liberians to pay his son next academic school fees.
He furthered ” My son is smart, I can’t sit and watch him grow up with out being educated, that is why I am appealing to brothers and sisters to please help me pay my son graduation fees”.
