BUTLER NAMES 23-MEN SQUAD FOR AFCON QUALIFIERS

Liberia Head Coach Peter Butler has named a 23-men squad to face Morocco on 13 June in an AFCON 2023 Group K qualifier.

The list includes 16 year-old Nimba FC starlet Divine Teah who impressed the Brit weeks ago in Turkey, Nimba Kwado’s midfielder Julius Nyanamah gets the nod after a wonderful 2021/22 season with Ton Pea Mea, and the Freeport duo of Frank Allison and Patrick Dweh.

There is new call up for Liberian-Ghanaian born Joachim Adukor who could be handed his debut and so is Molley Karpeh, the Syracuse Pulse forward who plays his club football in the USA.

The team leave for Casablanca early Wednesday, 8 June with a delegation of 41 headed by Executive Committee member Cyrus Yeanaye for their 2023 AFCON Qualifiers with the North Africans.
